Dear Friends, I have moved to Cape Coral, FL! I am the new Music Teacher at Cape Coral Charter School, and so far it's been an exhilarating and successful change - very positive in many ways. On the weekends I have been sitting in at such jazz venues as Ellington's on Sanibel Island and The Cafe in Naples with Bob Zottola, famous trumpet player who has played with everybody from Benny Goodman to Chick Corea. He's a great jazz improviser and has invited me to join him at his session there anytime. I have also played with a tenor sax/clarinet player who is 84 years young, Jerry Winner, who lived and played in New York on 52nd St. during it's jazz heydays. He told me he turned down the opportunity to tour with Lous Armstrong three times because he had 5 young children! I hope to be playing like this guy some 30+ years from now. Go Jerry!
