Ft Myers Regional Library Grand Opening
Fort Myers Regional Library, 2450 First St., Fort Myers, FL 33901
Danny K. and Woody B. bring some lively jazz tunes and standards to this event. We will be outside, under a tent behind the new Richmond St. south building. Hope you can be there!
This new library nearly triples the size of the previous one-story library and will be a vibrant east end anchor in the downtown Fort Myers River District. The library campus comprises two buildings, public plazas and multipurpose spaces, which provide a venue for Library-sponsored and other downtown events. This library is one of 13 libraries in the Lee County Library System, a department of Lee County government.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. and the all-day grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 11. The grand opening will feature live music, local authors, storytelling and many exciting programs and activities for all ages.
